Welcome to the world of Public Relations!

Publicists are often glorified as if this profession is one big party. Don't get me wrong, it can be, but it is very hard work, headaches, early mornings, and late nights. Regardless of these terms, I LOVE MY JOB!

Publicists do a certain level of advertising, but what many do not know is that PR does not "equal" advertising. PR is media, recognition, and or fans/clients "earned" by a brand. With any publicist, relationships are very important. We have to build a clear relationship with the direct client, and keep long-term relationships with connecting professional, media, and public partners. Any one who is able to read this blog post right now should 100% agree that relationships alone are hard. So when conducting business it is very crucial to get things squared off sooner than later because those traditional "it's not you it's me" talks will not work lol.

As long as my clients are ready to work, then so am I. I am in this position for the long run, I don't take no for an answer, and I am ready to speak and work for you if given the opportunity. Because my goal is to build a trusting platform for the success of your brand it will take some time, patience, and reconstructing. So be open for change, stay encouraged, put on your big boy boots and let's go! Success isn't made over night so the earlier we start the sooner you'll be on the right path. The process is not easy but I'm here to make it all simple.

Thank you for reading my first blog post but what are you still sitting there for? Email me and let's see what we can get cooking! (yahnejackson@gmail.com)
